Skip Barber National at VIR - Race Report

On Thursday and Friday practice we were quick throughout all the sessions. Then, in qualifying session 1 we went 7th. It positioned us to have a battle for the win. In race 1, I was in p5 going into the last lap hoping to challenge for a podium, but I had a brake failure on the last lap putting me back to 11th. "I was there but things happen," stated the young Rayhall after the first race.
In qualifying 2 we went a disappointing p12. In race 2 I was running in p9 throughout the race with the main group of leaders where I challenged for 7th on the last lap, but there was a wreck that I was involved in. "Things didn't seem to go our way this weekend, but we learned a lot and are ready to be a contender in next seasons championship."
