Sean Rayhall Continues to Break Records
September 21, 2008

Atlanta, GA (September 16, 2008) - It is a very rare occurrence to see so many records being broken in just one year, though this is what the motorsports community has seen in the hands of Sean Rahal. At only thirteen year of age, Rayhall has broken ten records in only ten month of racing cars. Two weeks ago, Rayhall set another record by becoming the youngest winner of a Skip Barber National Championship event.

The latest round of the Skip Barber National Championship was held at the new Thunderbolt Raceway. Being a new facility this gave the drivers an equal playing field. Qualifying tenth and eighth for the two races, Rayhall knew with the progress he was making throughout the weekend that he would be able to challenge for a podium. Being patient straight from the start of the race he would wait to show his cards until two laps to go. From seventh place Sean moved his way into second position in just two laps. After the race Sean was awarded the victory after the winner was penalized for rough driving.

The start of race two did not go as well as race one and Rayhall fell to eleventh on the first lap. Once again showing maturity beyond his years he steadily worked his way through the field. After sixteen laps of intense competition Rayhall was able to work his way back up to sixth nearly capturing fifth.

"This is an absolutely great weekend," stated Sean Rayhall. "Though race two did not go as well as hoped, race one was excellent. I can't wait to get to VIR and score another victory!"
